Kingdom Name: The Albion Republic

Kingdom's Culture (ie, French): The Albions are believers in personal freedoms and will fight tooth and nail to keep them. They are proud and kind people, likely to go out of there way to help others that are being oppressed, though this may make them seem arrogant at times. The Albions are strong diplomats with beautiful cities and a varied history. They view the tenants of education, free will and freedom as the most sacred of liberties. A nation-wide philosophy has been set up around this. As a nation they are renowned for the espionage abilities, and the Albion Intelligence and Counter-Intelligence Networks (Division 6 and Division 5) are second to none.

Kingdom Size: Moderate

Name of the Capital and surrounding Cities:
- Capitol: Albion - A gleaming and well defended metropolis, nestled atop a hill giving it a beautiful view of the surrounding land. This view also allows it an unbridled view of any attackers, allowing the city to marshal it's defenses before the start of the attack.

- Citys: Hibernia - A medium sized city near to the boarders of Albion territory. A prominent trade hub it also boasts sizable defenses. It is nestled in between two unclimbable mountains allowing only one entrace to Albion for attackers and traders alike.

Seabourg: A bustling seaport, home to traders and scoundrels alike. Home base of the Albion Navy and a well traveled city. Most visitors to Albion enter the nation by this city.

Kingdom Government: Republic

Name of the Kingdom's Leaders:
- Prime Minister Rowan Northridge: At Fifty-three years old PM Northridge is a shrewd political man, with the best interests of his people at heart. He is a strong proponent for personal and social freedoms, a platform which got him elected three years ago, and it seems likely he shall reach a second and even the maximum third term.
- General William Davidson: An old grizzled warrior, General Davidson at age sixty-four is a man who sees life as one long battle, always planning his move seven steps ahead. This has allowed him to beat out his rivals for head of the Albion Military. He sometimes complains that the military does not get enough funding.

Kingdom's Population Size and Population Growth: 80,000 population (1,200 population/week)

Kingdom's Labor Trait: Free Workers
- The Albion people do not believe in servitude, after seeing first hand the horrors it can inflict even on the best of men. They view all work as something to be proud to have been made by free hands, and no man works against his will in Albion.

Kingdom's Legal Trait: Social Freedoms
- The people of Albion are still trying to make amends for their atrocities five hundred years ago. To that end they have the "Document of Human Rights" which states the liberties and freedoms of each citizen of the Republic.

Kingdom's Religion Trait: Moral Philosophy (Education)
- The Albion's view of education is one of highest praise. All education is free teachers and professors rank high on the pay scale. They see education as a gateway to freedom, as the ignorant man may not even know if he is oppressed.

Kingdom's Military Trait: Espionage Network
- The Albion Republic is not most known for the force of arms, but their force of knowledge. Their Intelligence (Division 6) and Counter-Intelligence networks are the most formidable known. They are used to discover troop movements, stop terrorist attacks, and on the terrible occasion, to assassinate. They are one of the reasons nations enjoy their friendship with Albion, it gets them accurate intelligence and keeps them from being on the receiving end of an operation.

Kingdom History:
- Hundreds of years ago there was a great, proud, and cruel nation known as the Varthus Dominion. They ruled there territory with an iron fist, making slaves of there conquered enemies and killing all who tried to oppose them. They viewed all other peoples as savages and a stain on the ground they lived, and for the good of all they would be destroyed. They set about a campaign of massive expansion and destruction. The empire grew to encompass an area twice what they had to start, and they kept growing. Yet the destroyers of empires, greed and corruption, soon set in. The ruling class squabbled amongst themselves, were assassinated, and soon the mighty Varthus Dominion was no more.

The survivors of what became known as The Fall moved north, traveling for years until the settled on a river in the north of the continent. They spent many months building there new settlement, on a hill over looking a wide valley. The first settlement was destroyed when the Varthii, then called the Almanius, fought amongst themselves. A civil was between those who wanted things the way they were and those who wanted change. The progressives won and the slavers left. This lead to a schism with a section of the society breaking off and traveling to the coast where they set up a second settlement. The first settlement was rebuilt, and the people began the long process of creating a nation. They settlement was destroyed twice more in the intervening centuries, but it was saved from destruction many more times, against rogue armies, barbarians and wild animals. Nearly four hundred years after The Fall the Republic of Albion was created. They settlement became the first city, named Albion. They sent a diplomatic envoy to there brothers on the coast and they were welcomed with open arms, reuniting the nation once more. They adopted a system of liberties and freedoms that were incorporated into the "Document of Human Rights". They started work on a trade post in the mountains to defend against invaders and to welcome friends. Five hundred years after The Fall the Albion Republic is a free and just society.
